The International Grooming Society is pleased to share that All Paws Industry has published an article about the launch of the new IGS Animal Welfare Guidelines for Grooming Events.

The article highlights the importance of supporting responsible growth within the global grooming industry and recognises the need for clearer welfare standards when live animals are involved in grooming competitions, seminars, workshops, brand demonstrations and professional education.
These guidelines were created to help organisers, groomers, educators, brands and event teams keep animal welfare visible, practical and respected before, during and after grooming-related activities.
At the IGS, we believe that the future of grooming must be built on professional standards, animal welfare, clear communication and shared responsibility across the industry.
We would like to sincerely thank All Paws Industry and Purple Fox Media for helping bring this initiative to a wider pet industry audience.
