In April, Nathalie Doaré-Ariey-Jouglard, Founder of the International Grooming Society (IGS) and creator of the DAATA-ICDG Methodology, will be coming to Canada to deliver an exclusive in-person training in Applied Dermatology for Groomers.
This is a unique opportunity for Canadian professionals to deepen their scientific understanding of skin and coat health, and to elevate their grooming practice through a structured, evidence-based methodology.
🔬 DAATA-ICDG Level 1 - Science & Foundational Methodology
Level 1 focuses on the scientific foundations essential to professional grooming:
Skin physiology and barrier function
Hair structure and coat types
Understanding pH, sebum and microbiome balance
The DAATA methodological framework
Understanding the impact of every grooming step, tool and technique on the skin and coat
This level builds the intellectual and technical base required to work safely, respectfully and effectively with the skin and coat.

🧪 DAATA-ICDG Level 2 - Managing Skin & Coat Imbalances
Level 2 is dedicated to practical application and case management:
Reading and interpreting skin imbalances
Identifying abnormalities
Adjusting grooming strategies responsibly
Structuring professional decision-making
Case studies and real-life scenarios
This level empowers groomers to work with greater confidence, structure and scientific clarity.
