It means that the event has been accepted into the IGS programme, that it undertakes to apply the IGS Welfare Guidelines for Grooming Events, and that it benefits from the planned presence or support of an IGS Animal Welfare Delegate when required. The term **“IGS Certified Event”** may not be used unless a separate formal certification procedure has been created and specific written approval has been granted by IGS. --- # 14. Public Communication The organiser undertakes to use only wording approved by IGS. Recommended wording may include: **“This event applies IGS Welfare Guidelines for Grooming Events.”** **“This event is organised with a welfare framework based on IGS Welfare Guidelines and supported on site by an IGS Animal Welfare Delegate.”** **“This event is an IGS Welfare-Committed Event.”** Any communication suggesting that IGS legally certifies, guarantees or fully controls the event is prohibited. IGS may request the modification or removal of any communication it considers incorrect, excessive, misleading or contrary to the spirit of the programme. --- # 15. Organiser’s Obligations The organiser undertakes to: * provide accurate and complete information to IGS; * apply the IGS Welfare Guidelines in good faith; * inform participants of animal welfare expectations; * allow the Delegate access to areas where animals are present; * support reasonable recommendations made by the Delegate; * provide water, breaks and suitable spaces where necessary; * identify a veterinary or emergency contact where relevant; * comply with the legal rules applicable to the event; * obtain the necessary authorisations from authorities, venues, participants or animal owners; * not use the badge or IGS name beyond the authorisation granted. They may: * observe animal welfare conditions; * suggest adjustments; * recommend welfare pauses; * alert the organiser to a concerning situation; * recommend the withdrawal of an animal from an activity if its welfare appears compromised; * document certain incidents or concerns. The Delegate is not a veterinarian, unless they hold a separate professional qualification expressly stated as such. They do not make medical diagnoses, prescribe treatment or replace the legal or veterinary obligations of the organiser or animal owner. If the cancellation occurs late, IGS may invoice all or part of the planned service according to the progress of the file. --- # 21. Postponement of the Event In the event of postponement, IGS will make its best efforts to adapt the service to the new dates. If the designated Delegate is not available on the new dates, IGS may propose another trained and approved person, subject to availability. This obligation applies in particular to: * internal documents; * preparation exchanges; * sensitive organisational information; * observations related to incidents; * data concerning participants or animals; * reports or feedback not intended for public distribution. --- # 25. Personal Data Within the framework of the programme, IGS may collect certain personal data relating to the organiser, event contacts, Delegates or persons involved in the organisation. This data is used to: * manage the application; * provide the service; * communicate with the organiser; * prepare the Delegate’s intervention; * ensure administrative follow-up; * manage the commercial relationship. The persons concerned have the rights applicable to personal data protection under the regulations in force. For any request relating to personal data, the organiser may contact IGS at the following address: [info@internationalgroomingsociety.org](mailto:info@internationalgroomingsociety.org). --- # 26. Modification of the Terms and Conditions of Sale IGS reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. The applicable Terms and Conditions of Sale are those in force on the date the quotation or order is accepted. Any substantial modification concerning an already accepted service must be agreed between the parties. --- # 28. Applicable Law These Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation, performance or validity shall be governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply in the organiser’s country. --- # 29. Dispute Resolution In the event of a dispute, the parties undertake to seek an amicable solution before taking any legal action. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute shall be brought before the competent courts according to the applicable law and jurisdiction rules provided for in the contract. For business-to-business relationships, the parties may agree that the competent court shall be the court within the jurisdiction of IGS’s registered office, subject to any mandatory applicable rules. --- # 30. Acceptance of the Terms and Conditions of Sale Acceptance of the quotation, payment of the service, signature of the cooperation agreement or use of IGS materials implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale. The organiser acknowledges having read these Terms and Conditions of Sale before confirming the order.
